Facebook Live Audio Rooms
A live audio room is a way to host audio events on Facebook, such as a live radio show with viewers.
The live audio room feels like a live event attended by the live audience.
The interactive elements include the ability to raise their hands and be invited to speak or ask questions during the live event.
On-site event creators will be able to create on-site audio rooms through the iOS app, while viewers can participate in the event via Android or iOS devices.
Facebook Group Live Audio Rooms
There are differences in the privacy of the Facebook Live Audio Rooms group.
The live audio room of a private Facebook group is restricted to members of that group.
Facebook’s public live audio room is open to everyone, group members, and non-members.
Administrators can assign the ability to create live audio rooms to their moderators and group members.
Who Will Be Able to Host Audio Rooms
Currently, Facebook is launching a live audio room for public figures who are invited to participate and “choose” Facebook groups.
The host can invite people to the live audio room and broadcast up to fifty speakers. There is no limit to the number of listeners.
