A malicious link was shared by a WhatsApp group claiming to link the chat app theme highlighted in pink. The WhatsApp Pink link is actually a hacker’s attempt to gain control of the target device.
Whatsapp Pink Virus
The link to the new threat has been posted as WhatsApp Pink and claims the WhatsApp theme has changed from the iconic green to pink. This link has additional features that attract victims, and would like to justify its existence by treating the theme as the new official look of WhatsApp. Some WhatsApp users reported that they received this link on their mobile phone, but they received many direct links without knowing their true purpose.
